Ms Veronica Gabriel Buchumi

Veronica Gabriel Buchumi is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Private Law. She joined the School in 2013. Ms Buchumi holds a Bachelor of Laws (2013) and Master of Laws degrees (2014) from University of Dar es Salaam. In 2015, Ms Buchumi received a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Currently, Ms Buchumi is pursuing her PhD Studies at the University of Bayreuth, Germany.

Ms Buchumi is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. She is a member of Tanganyika Law Society; a Bar Association for Tanzania mainland. She is also a member of Tanganyika Women LAwywers Association since 2015. Ms Buchumi areas of interests are International Children’s Rights, Family law, refugee law and immigration law.
