On the 11th February 2020, the President of Zanzibar and the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council H.E Dr Ali Muhamed Shein launched Vol. 10 of Zanzibar Yearbook of Law of 2018. The launching was part of the celebration of Zanzibar law day. The Zanzibar Yearbook of Law (ZYBL) is a peer-reviewed international publication done by the Zanzibari legal fraternity under the guidance of the Honourable Chief Justice of Zanzibar and hosted by the Zanzibar Legal Services Centre (ZLSC). The Yearbook is published once a year since 2011 with articles published covering global, regional, sub-regional, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. The articles cover law and cross-cutting issues such as development, environment, gender and other such disciplines. In addition, the Yearbook carries a book review mainly of recent publications on Zanzibar or beyond and informs the reader the Government in office in that specific year and the laws passed by the Zanzibar House of Representatives during the year. The subscription to ZYBL shall be Tshs. 50,000/= per year including postage within Tanzania; and outside Tanzania it shall be the US $ 120 per year including postage. Past copies of the Yearbook can also be ordered at the same payment rates.
